Sorry for the looooong gap since the last post. ::hangs head in shame::
We have been on a little hiatus, but that is changing now. Yay!

But this is a good post! We have been working on a new monster!!!!
I just finished the prototype and there are some changes that we will be making.



I made this one out of fleece and used faux fur. Which leads me into a rant. (beware!)
::begin rant::
I DO NOT like the faux fur. It gets EVERYWHERE! Little pieces all over the monster and it reminds me too much of cat hair!
SO the next one that I'm currently working on will be a little smaller and made of out all felt. SO his chest "hair" and hairy butt will be felt.
::end rant::
I pieced together the felt one and it looks adorable, so I will be a happy camper when I get that one done.


We'll post photos of the felt one as soon as I finish it.

Come one, come all to my very first craft fair!!
We are bubbling over with excitment! Yes, our very first craft show!
I will be sharing a booth with my sister. She's a fun and sassy kinda gal that will be selling some knitted wears along with some awesome cootie catchers made by one of my nephews. And I (dressed rather smartly*) will be selling all of my crafty goodness that we currently have up on our Etsy shop! I mean everything from our Monsterously cute guys to our tote bags. And I will also be selling things that have not made it to our shop yet. SO please if you are in the area and have time to peruse handmade products made by hardwork folk check it out!

My humble apologies for the lack in postings. I will seek a reasonable punishment for our inaction. ::evil grin::
I have been working on some new things. It's a matter of taking photos and wrinkling out the details, but we do have some things done.

We would like thank all the people who have purchased from us recently. I like going to the post office now, they have those kiosks where you don't have to really wait in line and they seem to be friendlier then the postal workers. ;P

For the past couple of days I have been working hard to add new and fun things to our collection. I've been working on more batties and another new monster. There is one more thing that I have been working on and I've hit a wall with it. I've been asking a couple of my friends about what the in the world I should do with them. But I don't want to spoil the fun in introducing a new plushie, yet. SO hopefully in a few days I can share them with you. These cuties are designed by yours truly, so I'm excited about them!

AN idea that I have been messing around with.
Enjoy!

Here are a few pics of some of the things we have been working on.  The new stuff is taking longer to make than we thought it would, but it's coming :P  The first one is a bat.  You can't tell from the picture, but he will have pipe cleaners built into the wings so that they can keep a shape to them.  The other 3 are a group of clouds we created.  We might leave them as plushies, but I've been thinking about putting grommets in the top of them so that they can hang from something and float like clouds.  There aren't any pictures of them to show yet, but there will be earrings for each of the clouds.  Well thats enough for now, back to work!!!

We've got some new ideas that we have been making. And all I will say is CUTE!

We've sold a few more things over the past two weeks and I do hope it keeps up! Yay!

Yay!  Our Monster pillow was featured on Cuteable today!

We sold two, count 'em two items last night!!!
It's such a good feeling to know that people like our designs and the madness that creates them. lol
Thank you very much to those that support us.

In other news... I'm starting to look into jewelry making. But not the stones/beads/chain type things. For those that have seen what I've made in the past know what I'm talking about.

We have taken a very short break from crafting for our etsy shop. But never fear we have loads of explosive new designs and The Overlord has many more prints in the making.
While taking this break, I haven't stopped crafting. I've been making loads of stuff for myself. Just little bit and bobs of different things. If they turn out well, I do believe that you will be able to purchase them in the future.
I also discovered that sewing is my passion now. That's all I have been doing as of late and I love it! If I'm not hand sewing then I'm cross stitching. What ever craft I have been doing lately has involved a needle at some point (hehe needle, point, get it?).

So, keep an eye out for what's to come!

The Overlord and I have been extremely busy as of late creating and pricking fingers, well, the pricking fingers is all me but, we have been busy.
stuffies, and painting and shrinky dinks oh my! And way too many trips to Hobby Lobby, Ok, not too many for liking :)

On March 16th, we booked ourselves a showcase spot on Etsy.com in hopes to gain more exposure, and no, I'm NOT that kinda girl!
We have been working non stop to get all of the stuff finished that we want to put up right before that date. I could say that we currently have no lives, but in reality we don't so...

Also, we have some new designs and prints!! So excited about our new stuff hope you like it!

Yay, more sales!!! Thank you everyone! We are so happy that people like of Monstrously Cute stuffies!
I'm working my fingers to the bones making more lovable tykes in all sorts of different colors. They will be up as soon as I finish them. We have other ideas in mind as in what to do with them, and will keep you posted.
I've been wanting to work on some more of my dolls, but I have to put them on the back burner, I just hope that they get burned....yeah, I know, not funny, but you know me. I have terrible humor!
I see that we have some more new faces on our friends list and would like to say welcome and do enjoy the tea, but don't eat the pastries, they are a bit stale. I have been crafting and working different hours that I haven't the time slave away in the kitchen and bake like normal.
The Overload has been working on some more painting and hopely will have those up soon too.
Well, my tea is becoming rather chilly! I must plow on into the night with these beasties!
